just had a flashback of the days a long time ago when everyone around me used to speak english, and i had absolutely no idea what they were saying cos i couldnt understand the language
i went to nursery school with my cousin (who was pretty much my twin, we were born 5 days apart, and lived together ha) We used to speak in Gujarati together in school, and the teachers would tell us off and insist we were doing to annoy them (it took a while to understand this)
crazy times
now i feel i speak English better than half the people i’ve met whose primary language it is
